Spaghetti with garlic cream, oil and chilli pate
Spaghetti with garlic cream, oil and Torrisi`s chilli pate is a classic dish for a quick lunch or dinner with friends.
Equipment
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Blender
- 1 pot
- 1 frying pan
Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 6 Garlic cloves
- 40 g Parsley
- 100 ml Torrisi's extra virgin olive oil
- Torrisi's Chilli Pate
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel the garlic. Put water in a saucepan, once boiling add the garlic cloves and blanch them for a few minutes, drain them and repeat the process 3-4 times, always changing the water in the saucepan.
- Place the blanched garlic cloves in the blender together with oil, water and a pinch of salt and blend until smooth. Put the cream in the frying pan, chop the parsley and add the chilli pate and cook for a few minutes.
- Cook the spaghetti in a saucepan with plenty of salted water, as soon as they are ready put them directly into the pan with the sauce, stir quickly for a few seconds until the spaghetti are well amalgamated with the cream of garlic, oil and chilli paste without putting the pan on the heat. At this point you are ready to plate them and serve them at the table.
Notes
This dish goes well with a cool, slightly sparkling white wine, which helps to counteract the spiciness of the chilli. A cool, light beer can be a pleasant alternative.
