ANCHOVY FILLETS - USES AND CONSUMPTION:<\/h4>\n

Anchovies are a great ingredient for all occasions. Very versatile, they can be regarded as a bit of a dinner-saving ingredient when you don't have the time or inclination to cook.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The uniqueness of anchovy fillets lies in their intense flavour, which allows them to add flavour and life to basic dishes such as simple warmed or saut\u00e9ed vegetables. On occasion we can take broccoli as an example, sometimes dull and not so tasty, but with the addition of fresh cherry tomatoes, capers, anchovies and pine nuts you can rediscover a simple, quick and really tasty dish.<\/p>\n

There are many recipes that can be made with anchovy fillets, one of which is bruschetta with butter and lemon zest. This is a very simple and quick recipe to prepare, all you have to do is butter some slices of bread, croutons or crackers, add the anchovies and gently sprinkle them with grated lemon zest, which serves to tone down the strong and intense flavour of the anchovy fillets and bring out a sweet hint of citrus.<\/p>\n
