Roll with pistachio cream
The Torrisi`s pistachio cream roll is a mouth-watering dessert perfect for any occasion, from birthdays to dinners with friends. Excellent as an end-of-meal dessert and a snack, the pistachio cream roll will please everyone.
Equipment

- 1 Cake whisk
- 1 baking tray
- Baking paper
- Film
Ingredients
- 5 Eggs
- 100 g Pistachio flour
- 120 g 00 flour
- 120 g Sugar
- 250 g Mascarpone
- 200 g Torrisi`s Pistachio Cream
- Pistachio grain to taste
Instructions
- To prepare the pistachio roll we start with the pistachio biscuit dough. In a bowl whisk the eggs together with the sugar until frothy, then add the pistachio flour (leave a teaspoon of flour to one side) while continuing to whisk the mixture and add the 00 flour a little at a time, stirring it in with a whisk.
- Take a baking tray, line it with baking paper and pour in the mixture from before, bake in a static oven at 180° for about 15 minutes. Once it has been taken out of the oven, place it on another sheet of clean baking paper, sprinkle the sugar into the dough and cover it with foil and let it cool completely.
- In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, Torrisi`s pistachio spread and a teaspoon of pistachio flour until it becomes a uniform cream
- Once the roll dough has cooled, peel off the foil and spread the pistachio mixture you have just made, roll the base on itself with the help of some baking paper and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
- After the time has elapsed, remove the baking paper and place the pistachio roll on a plate, decorate it with strips or cover it with Torrisi`s pistachio spread and if you wish, you can also add some pistachio granules.
Notes
You can customise the roll by adding dark chocolate chips to the pistachio cream or by replacing the pistachio cream with other cream, such as chocolate cream or hazelnut cream, for a variety of flavours and tastes.
