The coscia pear is an early fruit that is harvested on the slopes of Mount Etna in the summer. Green in colour with deep red hues, the coscia pear is a sweet-tasting fruit with a very light-coloured flesh, from which the colour of our jam is derived. I recommend pairing it with mature cheese, accompanied by a small glass of excellent grappa.
