Tuna fillets with pistachio pesto
Tuna fillet is a prized ingredient of the sea, and Torrisi`s pistachio pesto enhances its flavour without covering it up.
Equipment
- 1 frying pan
- 1 Kitchen tongs
- 4 Dishes
- 1 Spoon
Ingredients
- 480 g Tuna steaks au naturel
- Torrisi`s Pistachio Pesto
- Salt to taste
- Oil to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a little oil in a pan, preferably non-stick, and then add the tuna fillets, add a little salt and pepper and cook over a medium-high flame for about 3-5 minutes.
- Turn the tuna fillets and cook them on the other side for 2-3 minutes, remove them from the pan as soon as they are ready.
- Take the plates and pour the pistachio pesto on each plate, lay the tuna fillet on top, you can also add pistachio pesto on top if you wish, and you can add vegetables or potatoes as a side dish. The dish is ready to be served and enjoyed.
Notes
This dish goes well with light, fresh side dishes such as green salad or grilled vegetables. A glass of chilled white wine rounds off the meal perfectly.
