Pancakes with pistachio spread and pistachio granules
Pancakes with Torrisi`s pistachio spread, delicious and perfect for breakfast or a snack, quick and easy to make.
Equipment
- 3 Receptacle
- 1 Cake whisk
- 1 frying pan
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- 75 g 00 flour
- 50 g Milk
- 1 Egg room temperature
- 25 g Butter 15g + 10g for the pan
- 3 g Baking powder
- 10 g Caster sugar
- Salt to taste
- Torrisi`s Pistachio Spreadable Cream
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a pan and then let it cool.
- Separate the albumin from the yolk by placing it in two different containers, add the milk in the container containing the yolk.
- Add the melted butter and a pinch of salt, then beat well to create a homogeneous mixture. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and mix well.
- In the other bowl, whisk the egg white and sugar together with an electric mixer and then combine the two compounds until a foamy batter is obtained.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan, place a very small piece of butter in the centre, about 10g, and then pour a small ladle of mixture over it, forming a circle 8-10 cm in diameter.
- Repeat this until the dough is finished. Add Torrisi`s pistachio spread and pistachio granules on top of the pancakes and serve.
Notes
Torrisi`s pistachio spread pancakes are a delicious variation of the classic pancakes, enriched with the intense flavour and creaminess of pistachio cream. The pancakes keep well for a few days in the fridge, but are best eaten freshly made, when they are still warm and soft.
